We have a new member of the family!

Our family has been wanting a dog for awhile now. I needed it to be a chocolate lab that was female. Simply because I'll be damned if we got another male in the house to overload me on testosterone. Another reason is because I have always wanted a chocolate lab. Chris and the boys wanted a dog that wasn't small and "yappy."

Well, when we went to visit my brother at the local animal shelter where he works... we discovered her. :)
She was an 8 month old chocolate lab and as precious and spunky as she could be.

The household now has a 4 legged family member who seems to be constantly happy and ready to play. She has been wonderful and we all absolutely adore her. She even has her own little potty spot in the backyard. Potty trained too??? This is too good to be true... I'll probably find my shoe collection all torn up and slobbered on tomorrow morning.
