We got in on Saturday afternoon. The trip was wonderful and Carnival Cruise Line really did impress me. The food, service, and kids club were the things that stood out. Absolutely superb. The ship itself is a bit older and it shows with some of the decor and furniture but the key parts of the cruise were excellent.
Another highlight of the trip was parasailing with my 82 year old grandmother!!! No one else would and thought it was a horrible idea for her to do such a thing. Ha! I say if the woman wants to parasail let her parasail damnit.

The buffets had plenty of variety and were quite good. Of course my boys chose Lucky Charms for breakfast. They are magically delicious you know.
Our waiter every night definitely had the standards as if he were working at Lawry's Steakhouse in Dallas.
The adult-comedy show was pretty damn funny. Good show. Good times.

Waiting on our deck to be called to leave for home... every cruisers favorite part right? No.
Overall, after cruising on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian cruise lines I will admit that Carnival was much more than I expected. 24 hour room service too! Terrah gives major points for 24 hour room service. ;) Texans, for a cheap getaway you can beat the value.
