Oh.My.Goodness... did anyone watch this girl on Oprah tonight? Charice Pempengco is her name and I have a gut feeling if you don't know of her now you will shortly. She grew up poor in the Philippines and is now being discovered by all of the right people.
Her idol has always been Celine Dion and she use to draw pictures of them singing together in her "dream journal." Well, tonight on the show Celine surprised the girl and asked her to come perform with her at the Madison Square Gardens next week. That is when I started to tear up. So sweet!

Yes, what talent. She comes around in a lifetime, just like Celine, Whitney, and Barbara. Hopefully with the right nurturing and coaching by David Foster her song writer and Oprah as her manager, she will become the U.S.'s latest diva.
