THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen and the El Dorado Maroma ~ ladies trip!

Hewo world. :) The trip to the Riviera Maya was pretty fantastic because I was finally able to experience it with two of my favorite ladies, my mother and grandmother. Not at the same time either. See, my mom and I flew down and stayed at THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen for the first 3 nights then she flew home and I picked up my grandmother from the airport on the same day and we stayed at the El Dorado Maroma for the last 2 nights. I had some work to do while I was there but the one on one time with them was priceless.

First up, THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen. This is an AAA 5 diamond awarded hotel and I have been in love with it since the first time I visited back in 2005. EVERY suite has jacuzzis with ROYAL beds, a mini bar and 24 hour room service. Another highlight is that it backs up to 5th Avenue in downtown Playa! It's a perfect resort for those who would like an adults-only atmosphere and be walking distance to town.

Next, the El Dorado Maroma. This very well may be my favorite Karisma hotel (Sshhhh, that's a secret!). With only 78 suites, it is very small and intimate so it has amazing service. The beach beds and beach butler service is absolutely impeccable as well. This resort is perfect for those who are wanting to be pampered and enjoy luxury.

I am starting to use my Flip Video camera more and with that comes learning how to use Window's Movie Maker. Although I still have a lot of learning to do, here is one of my first videos. It is a summary of our trip to Mexico:
