Hostels often get a bad rep for being nasty and unsafe, especially in Amsterdam. In 2005, Eli Roth came out with that awful movie "The Hostel" which definitely didn't help the situation. Today we are going to go over two hostels in Europe that not only feel safe and clean but you will most likely have a blasty blast while there as well.
Location: Amsterdam
The Flying Pig continues to win the award for best hostel in the Netherlands. They have three locations: one in Uptown, one in Downtown and one on the beach. The Flying Pig Hostels are budget-friendly and have the motto "one price covers all." This really means everything in these youth hostels is included: breakfast, linen, internet, lockers, luggage room, tours, info guide, map, self-service kitchen etc.
Location: Nice, France
Off to explore the beautiful French Riviera but want to save some big bucks while doing so? The Villa Saint Exupery is a little lap of luxury and may just be perfect for you. The chapel has been transformed into a fresh, fun lounge area for guests. They have been voted TOP TEN HOSTELS in the world 5 years in a row!

3 EXPRESSIONS:
I've always been to wimpy to stay in a hostel, but these two seem nice. The one in France look beautiful!
Happy SITS Sharefest Saturday!
Have a good one.

So cool! I hope to visit Holland in a year or so specifically to Leiden as my ancestor, John Robinson, pastor to the Pilgrims lived and died there. There is a church in Leiden with a plaque dedicated to him that I want to see!
Your blog is great! No time to look around much today but I'll be back.
Wow, who knew hostels could look like that? I'm still scarred from that movie!
