Sunday Hi 107° F Lo 81° F Mostly Clear

It is hot as all blue blazes outside these days! I love being a Texan and all but when the weather is this hot my boys and I can't go outside and enjoy the summer as we should. So we baked cookies and played games inside this weekend. Here are a couple of shots from today:

Last weekend was my niece's 7th birthday. It's hard to believe that she was born SEVEN years ago... it doesn't seem like that long ago. Everyone seems to mistake her and Dylan as twins. They do look, talk, and act a lot alike. They are close cousins and I'm thankful for that. Her birthday party was at Chuck E Cheese and anyone who knows me is aware that I am not the biggest fan of that place. But thankfully it was on a weekday so there wasn't a crazy amount of kids there and we all had a wonderful time.
